We have a special treat in store on Thursday, June 21, as we cruise the Mackinac Straits on a vintage Great Lakes vessel. This optional limited capcity event is sponsored by WCMU Public Radio. The two-hour cruise features a sunset ride under the Mackinac Bridge, live performances from Michigan musicians and hearty hors d'oeuvres provided by Audie’s, an award-winning restaurant in Mackinaw City.
The Algomah II
This evening will allow us to briefly experience the beauty and vastness of the Great Lakes, which were such an important aspect of transportation during the Hemingway family’s era of being “Summer People.”
(In the event of inclement weather, the party will still be aboard the boat, but the boat will remain at the dock. Remember how much fun that was in Paris?)
